Assessment and Rating

TWOOSH has recently undergone the mandatory A&R process. In brief, this involved the team submitting a Self-Assessment document, followed by a visit from an authorised officer from the Department of Education where we were assessed against the National Quality Standards (NQS), set by ACECQA. NQS sets a national benchmark for the quality of children’s education and care services across Australia.  

 

We are super excited and proud that TWOOSH has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard under the National Quality Framework.

 

An overall rating of Exceeding NQS is given to services that go above and beyond the requirements of the NQS in at least four of the seven quality areas. TWOOSH was rated as going above and beyond in six out of the seven quality areas.

This is an exceptional achievement under the new rating system, demonstrating the high quality of care provided at TWOOSH. We are one of the rare OOSH services in the local area who has risen to meet the demands of the revised rating system, enabling us to maintain our Exceeding status – this is a phenomenal outcome definitely worth celebrating!
